Happy Holidays everyone! It is finally December and the countdown to Santa has started in Kindergarten. I hope you are using your Santa countdown at home as well. What an exciting time of year. We are enjoying December and getting ready for the Christmas concert on the 17th. We are planning a special performance for you. Please take a peek at our Important Dates for the month. Happy November from Mrs. Poole and her little angels. We have been very busy getting ready for Remembrance Day. We have learned poems and songs. We have also read many stories that have helped us to understand the concept of this special day. The children are looking forward to our service on Monday.

Cool Cats!

This afternoon we finally finished making our Halloween Cats. We did such a fantastic job. I really love the personal touches each child added. Great work!

We have been having a lot of fun making crafts and reading Halloween stories. We are even writing our own book. We wish everyone a safe and happy night of Trick-or-Treating!

Hello everyone!

Last week was a busy one. We baked apple pies with Rose on Wednesday. We visited the Apple Orchard on Thursday and we made Thanksgiving decorations and cards on Friday. We hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving weekend.

October News!

October 6 begins International "Walk To School Week". We hope to have as many children walk to school as possible during this week. October 8, however, is International "Walk to School Day" so we would like to see everyone come out to walk on that day.

October 8-12 is Fire Prevention Week. We have a "Fire Prevention" presentation on October 9. Members of our local Fire Department will be here.

We are going to the apple orchard on Thursday, October 9. We are really looking forward to our trip and learning more about apples.

Hi There! We are off to a great start in Kindergarten. What a terrific group of children. It hard to believe that September is over already. We have an exciting month ahead. Please take note of the important date section of our blog.

"Signs of Autumn"

Please send in any "Signs of Autumn" for our class collection. Leaves, acorns, pinecones.... We are going to sort these items and make patterns in Math. We will also be making beautiful FALL collages in Art class. Thanks for your help.
